Payment FAQ’s

  • I understand that financial barriers can make accessing mental health care challenging. If cost is a concern, please let me know—I have a limited number of low-cost session slots available.

  • Absolutely! If you are interested in submitting an out-of-network claim to your insurance, please let me know during your intake consultation. I am happy to provide you with a superbill or a clinical receipt for services. Reimbursement is never guaranteed, as it depends on your specific insurance company and policy

  • Greater Privacy: Insurance companies often require details about your mental health care that you may prefer to keep private. With an out-of-network provider, what you discuss in therapy stays in the therapy room.

    No Unnecessary Diagnosis: In-network providers are required to provide a diagnosis, even if it may not fully reflect your situation. Out-of-network providers can offer care without the need for labeling or unnecessary diagnoses.

    More Control Over Your Care: Insurance limitations can restrict your choice of providers to those within their network. By working with an out-of-network therapist, you have the freedom to choose the clinician who best fits your needs.

  • To provide the best service to all my clients, I require a 24-hour notice for session cancellations. There is no charge for sessions canceled at least 24 hours in advance.

    I understand that life can be unpredictable, so I offer a one-time exception for cancellations made within 24 hours at no charge.

    After this one-time exception, any session canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time will be charged the full session fee.
